		No credit union may be incorporated unless a federation has undertaken to admit it as a member and to furnish, at the request of the Inspector General of Financial Institutions, such guarantees as he may consider sufficient to ensure the protection of the members of the credit union to be incorporated.
		A credit union must cease to issue permanent shares where the confederation with which the federation of which it is a member is affiliated holds, in the fund set up for such purposes, permanent shares issued by the credit union.
		The credit union may redeem permanent shares held for at least five years by a person who is 60 years of age and has availed himself of a right to pre-retirement or to retirement or by a person who is 65 years of age.
