I discovered Feeder when I saw their "Just in a day" video on one of the music channels on Sky and loved it but never knew they were from Wales until I did a search after the Tsunami concert.
Feeder are one of the best bands around today and did tremendously well to come back through tradegy and still make great records.

The band's spokesman said: "It is with the deepest regret that we must announce the tragic and premature death of Feeder drummer, Jon Lee.
Feeder formed in the early 90s when Lee - who was a county sprinter until he suffered a leg injury - met guitarist and songwriter Grant Nicholas in a Cardiff band, Temper Temper.
Feeder signed a deal with Echo Records in 1995, and steadily built up a following during the late 1990s, with the track High becoming their first mainstream hit in 1997.

The band's second compilation, "The Singles" was released on the 15th of May 2006, featuring a collection of singles from throughout their history, plus three new tracks: "Lost and Found", "Burn The Bridges" and "Save Us".

At the Winter Holiday concert in December the band got nice comments for their playing of the "Nutcracker" "Jurassic Park" " Fanfare and Allegro" and several other pieces along with the middle school band which is our feeder band.
In March the band members hosted a concert with the Oroville Community Band and sat with them during some of their numbers.
On May 27 the band will perform at the Strawberry Festival at the school which is another fund raising activity.

Feeder were born when welshmen Grant Nicholas and Jon Lee decided to form a band in 1994.
Feeder are currently working on a Greatest Hits collection, as well as working on new material for a future release, which is a very positive sign as most bands cease to exist after GH albums.
The band also plan to make appearances at T In The Park, Reading and Leeds this summer, as well as 'The Full Ponty' which is a celebration of welsh acts in Pontypridd, including Feeder, Goldie Lookin Chain, Funeral For a Friend, Biffy Clyro (not welsh so I cant see the connection) and many more.

Their first full length, 'Polythene' followed, then 'Yesterday Went Too Soon', although it was 2001's 'Echo Park' that broke the band to the mainstream, especially with singles 'Buck Rogers', and 'Seven Days In The Sun'.
The following album - the first after Lee's death - was a more laid back affair, although it should be noted that most of the demos had been completed beforehand.
