Alizoti was Minister of Finances of Albania in 1918–1920, 1927 and during the Italian occupation in Shefqet Verlaci's government from April 12, 1939 to 1940.
Alizoti was appointed the High Commissioner (civil governor) of those areas.
Alizoti occupied that post until those areas were formally annexed to Albania on December 3, 1941.
