De Weldon eventually moved to London, where he gained a number of commissions, among them a portrait sculpture of George V.
It was after the war that de Weldon created his most famous piece, the USMC War Memorial of marines raising the Flag of the United States on Iwo Jima.
At the conclusion of the war, the Congress of the United States commissioned de Weldon to construct the Iwo Jima statue in the realist tradition, based upon the famous photograph of Joe Rosenthal, of the Associated Press agency, taken on 23 February 1945.

Felix W. de Weldon, the world-renowned sculptor of the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial and more than 2,000 monuments worldwide, received the title of Honorary Marine from the Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. James L. Jones in a ceremony on the grounds of the memorial July 24.
De Weldon was so moved by the image that he immediately began sculpting a small model, concocted from a mixture of floor and sealing waxes.
De Weldon was born in 1907 in Vienna, Austria and studied art and architecture in Paris, Rome, Florence and later Oxford.

de Weldon was on a tour of duty as a Navy Seabee in 1945 when recapturing the small island of Iwo Jima, located 660 miles from Tokyo, became a top priority for the American military.
de Weldon saw the picture, he was so inspired that he spent three days and three nights creating a three-foot sculpture of it using floor and ceiling wax.
de Weldon's commanding officer sent him back to Washington, where he was transferred to the Marines and tapped to create the memorial.

It is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph "Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima" by war photographer Joe Rosenthal.
Felix W. de Weldon, a sculptor who was serving with the U.S. Navy was inspired to reproduce the photograph as a model and later a life-sized statue.
The statue itself was cast in 108 pieces at the Bedi-Rassy Art Foundry Brooklyn, New York, taking some three years to complete.

Block, and one Navy corpsman, Pharmacist's Mate Second Class John H. Bradley—the flag raisers in Rosenthal's Pulitzer Prize-winning photo—would be forever immortalized in bronze.
According to the Marine Corps History and Museums Division, Hayes, Gagnon and Bradley, the three survivors of the battle, posed for de Weldon, who modeled their faces in clay.
Once the plaster stage was completed, the statue was disassembled and trucked from de Weldon's Washington, D.C., studio to Bedi-Rassy Art Foundry in Brooklyn, N.Y., for casting in bronze.

Her father's name was John W. Campbell born in either KY or NC date about 1820.
I also have pictures of the Hutchins Cemetery sign and overall picture of the cemetery along with a picture of an old homestead on the property that might have belonged to the Hutchins family of couse that is just a guess.
The first link you mentioned has been redone - at least from the main page when you click in on TX Cemeteries - I found only a couple workable links and a week or so ago was in there and it was set up differently and worked fairly well.
