 ASEE - National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship - About
NDSEG Fellowships are intended for students at or near the beginning of their graduate studies in science or engineering.
During part of the fellowship tenure, a fellow may study or engage in research or fieldwork away from his or her academic institution if, in the judgment of the faculty, such arrangements further the fellow's education and contribute directly to the attainment of an advanced degree.
The availability of funds for the second and third years of each three-year award is contingent upon certification to ASEE by the fellow's institution that the fellow has made satisfactory academic progress toward an advanced degree in one of the specified science or engineering disciplines.

 PA-00-068: NIH PREDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP AWARDS FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES (F31)
The intent of this Predoctoral Fellowship Program is to encourage students with disabilities to seek graduate degrees and thus further the goal of increasing the number of scientists with disabilities who are prepared to pursue careers in biomedical and behavioral research.
Continuation of the fellowship award for each subsequent year beyond the first year of the award is based upon evidence of satisfactory progress in a graduate program.

 President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
The current President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is open to all qualified candidates who are committed to university careers in research, teaching, and service that will enhance the diversity of the academic community at the University of California.
The program is particularly interested in applicants whose family members may have experienced barriers to participation in higher education, who are bilingual or bicultural, or who have participated in teaching, mentoring or outreach programs (for example, MESA or Puente) that are designed to foster the participation of educationally disadvantaged students in higher education.
For fellowships in Mathematics, Engineering, Life Science and Physical Science, the program will prefer candidates with a demonstrated record of mentoring or outreach activities that promote access and opportunity in higher education and who intend to incorporate such activities into their academic careers.

The IEEE Fellowship in Electrical History supports either one year of full-time graduate work in the history of electrical science and technology at a college or university of recognized standing, or up to one year of post-doctoral research for a scholar in this field who has received their Ph.D. within the past three years.
