Female Transformers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Female Cybertronians are particularly rare, and in the four million years that Optimus Prime and his crew were absent from Cybertron, they were perceived to have become extinct.
Officially, this makes Blackarachnia the first villainous female Transformer to appear in any of the animated series, but given that the protoform from which she was created was originally that of a Maximal, the search for an official female Decepticon would continue.
She transforms into a hawk and became involved in a romantic relationship with Tigatron when the two embarked on a survey mission of prehistoric Earth.

Arcee - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Arcee is a fictional character in the Transformers universe.
Although a group of Female Autobots had already been featured in one episode of the cartoon series, Arcee quickly became the most famous due to her position as a recurring cast member following her introduction in Transformers: The Movie.
Arcee was absent from the US Marvel Comics (barring the adaptation of the movie), because the comics had established that in their continuity, Transformers did not possess sexes, thus Arcee's presence as a clearly female robot would have defied this.

Tarantula - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Female specimens have been known to reach 30 years of age and even 40 years, and have survived on water alone for up to 2.5 years.
When a male spider detects the presence of a female he must first exchange signals with her to establish the fact that they are members of the same species and to lull the female into a receptive state.
After the semen has been transferred to the receptive female's body, the male will generally be well advised to leave the scene before the female recovers her appetite.

From its study, it determined that living beings were usually referred to by the pronouns "he" or "she," and inanimate, genderless objects as "it." The idea of sexual differentiation among species being a foreign concept, the Ark was unable to differentiate between the two and used them interchangeably at first.
The fact that the "female" Transformers have somewhat feminine shapes is thus purely coincidental, and perhaps a reason a particular Transformer might identify itself as female.
The Transformers merely adopted a name more suitable for communication with life on this planet, as this was the original purpose for their adapting to Earth modes.

I claim that while there are Transformers which appear male and Transformers which appear female, and while "male" and "female" Transformers may engage in flirtation and romantic activities with each other, this is merely an aspect of Transformer personality, and no actual reproduction takes place between Transformers.
Transformers are built by other Transformers in the same way any robot would be built.
Some bits are obtained from the mother Transformer and some from the father, and the resulting number is used as a key for the hash table to determine the commercial state of the child.

The comparason between prime and arcee was that if one transformer took half of the whole object (with teletram not being able to distinguish between the bike and the rider) then this is the same as prime being split into his 2 constiuant parts for no apparant reason.
Acree and other female Transformers were created as paternal guardians, healers and teachers for the evolving protoform sparks that would soon mature and inhabit their metallic shells.
Now, with the war at its peak, Acree is not only the representative of Transformer compassion but she is the last of a dying breed.

 OAFE - Energon: Arcee review
Sure, the living planet is completely awesome now that we have him, and he would have been a big steaming hunk of ass if he'd been made in the '80s, but there was another bot introduced in the film who would have been pretty cool, even back then.
Even as a child, I found it ridiculous and a little bit sexist that there were no female Transformers.
Transformation is as easy as you'd expect from a toy this size.

Transformers have enjoyed a long-lived popularity in the hearts and minds of people around the world, and like Star Wars, Batman, or Monica Lewinsky, there are many references to Transformers in other movies, TV shows, songs, and the like.
While it's true that Arcee existed in the UK comics, she did not represent the existence of female Transformers on Cybertron: she was constructed at Prime's request in order to promote understanding between TFs and humans and to explore the notion of "gender".
Transformers were a fairly ubiquitous phenomenon, reaching many areas of the world in one form or another.

She was part of the main cast of the movie, and would go on to be a major player in the third season of the Transformers show.
Due to the weapons's size and the way her arms are designed, Arcee can't really hold the weapon pointing forward, so the optimal pose is having her hold it out to the side and aiming, almost like an archer would (and perhaps, that was part of the point).
The choice of having the parts come together into a crossbow type weapon echoes the use of such a weapon by the G1 female Autobot Beta, which is probably a coincidence, but a happy one.

Assuming that the Quints were selling to humanoid, sexually dimorphic beings, it's possible that the first female Transformers were designed for a specific "target market." In essence, the Transformers themselves may not be "sexed" per se, but they may have had gender roles *applied* to them as part of a business scheme.
Each Transformer is "frequency locked" to a certain pocket of subspace, so there isn't any possibility of a transformer stealing weapons that were placed into subspace by another transformer.
Transformer decoys were made later, and were nothing but small rubber statues of various TFs in their robot modes.

CyberFembots (Cyber Fembots) - Custom Female Transformers from A Rabid Squirrel
Since the early days of the first generation transformers cartoon, fans have been clamoring for a transformable female robot.
In the 90s and early 00s, several statues, figurines, model kits, and even transforming toys were released, but none would fully quench the thirst of old-school fan boys for high quality transforming toys that actually resembled the female form, as portrayed by characters like Elita-One, Firestar, Moonracer, Chromia, and Arcee.
Transformation is a rarity among custom jobs, and the amount of pre-planning that went into A.R.C. is very evident.

were the male and female transformers able to have sex or was it a companionship thing.
Female Autobots added a "gender" confirmation to the transformers which added feelings like "love" to the equation.
And thus in order to draw their attention they make the Transformers males (because after all, the main target of this line are boys not girls).

The only recurring G1 female transformer (unless you count Elita 1's appearance as Ariel in War Dawn), Arcee is widely remembered but is arguably the most under-developed character from Transformers: The Movie (even Blurr and Wheelie got to appear in episodes that touched on their personality—Face of the Nijika and Surprise Party respectively).
Throughout the G1 cartoon series, she was very much the token female character but was always a low priority when it came to the spotlight due to the lack of a toy in her name.
In the all too frequent moments when transformers forget that they are faster in vehicle mode, she tends to be running ahead of the others.

As the millennia passed, Primus realized that he could alter the shape of his prison, and so began to form his asteroid into a planet, and the planet into a race of beings which he hoped would one day be able to stand against Unicron, should he ever escape from his asteroid.
Thus the Transformers were created on their planet Cybertron, with almost no memory of their origin other than myth.
In addition, the Japanese HeadMaster Minerva was characterized as a female both in the Masterforce cartoon _and_ in her toy incarnation (this toy was released with a sex change under the name of Nightbeat in the US).

The Ant has no responsibility to support the irresponsible Grasshopper, but he does have the right to keep and enjoy what he produced in the summer, and anyone who takes it away from him and gives it to the Grasshopper is no Robin Hood, but a robbing hoodlum.
Female virtue moderates this competitiveness in men, just as, in other contexts, male virtue moderates women.

If the Quintessons were making Transformers to sell that would physically appeal to their customers in that they looked sort of like them, then one would think that there would be at least a few Transformer designs that weren’t vaguely humanoid.
The females were "culturally" used to being smaller, sleeker, etc than the males, so that’s what they wanted to be in their new forms.
According to the "official" history of the Transformers put forth in the third season of the cartoon, their ancestors were created sort of "soulless." They had no sentience, no volition of their own until at some point they somehow "became sentient." HmmmmÂ…Well, I don’t know.

It is hotly debated whether or not the differences between "male" and "female" Transformers are merely superficial.
Beta is one of the Autobots who battled against the Quintessons in the time after the rebellion against their former masters began.
She was one of the leading figures (possibly A-3's second-in-command), and was also the first to encounter the Autobots who accidentallly travelled back in time from 2006.

In the introduction for Arcee in the comics, it was stressed that Transformers don't subdivide by sexes -- the reason for the character's creation was a public relations exercise on Prime's part.
otherwise, female TF toy must look female, not like Override (Cybertron), and is a difficult create this kind of toy (with a good transformation) - most of cartoon mold are very close to their respective toys.

FACT: Apparently, in the early days of the online Transformers fandom, there was a particlularly proactive splinter group which was quite persistent in claiming that Megatron and Galvatron were not the same entity, because they couldn't accept their beloved character (Megatron) getting turned into a maniac (Galvatron).
Back to the Galvatron/Megatron issue: Additionally to the aformentioned examples, the first issues of "The Transformers", the Transformers: 2010 manga printed inside TV Magazine, appear to depict Megatron and Galvatron as different characters.

And the reason for them being able to reproduce was so that owners who knew other owners could bring their Transformers together so that they could "breed" them to create a "litter" of new transformers for themselves.
Perhaps during some kind of merging together of the "parent" transformers, data from the memory banks of the male transformer is absorbed by the female transformer and data from her memory banks is past down to a "baby" transformer that is created from female's liquid metal insides.
