	Fenriz - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Fenriz (born 1971-11-28), born Leif Nagell, later changed to Gylve Fenris Nagell, is best known as the drummer and lyricist for the two-piece Norwegian fl metal band Darkthrone.
		Fenriz has expressed that he had a passive interest in Bathory by 1986, but claims that he did not understand the "darkness" of fl metal until hearing a song by the Hungarian band Tormentor in 1989 (he gives similar credit to Mercyful Fate).
		Fenriz is known for his refusal to play live and his lack of interest in the music business in general (he is not opposed to file sharing, as demonstrated through his apathy toward the very premature leak of Darkthrone's 2004 release Sardonic Wrath on the Internet).

	Mother North - Darkthrone
		The band consists today of Fenriz alias Gylve Nagell alias Hank Amarillo and Nocturno Culto alias Nocturnal Cult alias Ted Skjellum, and they have had some other members through the years, the first to go was Dag Nilsen who took care of the bass playing duties on the demo's and on Soulside Journey.
		The vocals are death and were done by Fenriz and doesn't sound that good, not to say bad, but the drumming is good old Fenriz, and the music is great.
		One can only wonder how far Fenriz would have evolved his drumming abilities, because what he plays on this one is simply outstanding at times.
