		Ferguson’s teaching carrier started by teaching band and orchestra for seven years in the Clear Creek ISD, band for four in Boling ISD and band for two years in Yorktown ISD in Texas before moving to Marshall, Missouri in 1979.
		While in Marshall Ferguson directed the Marshall Municipal Band for twenty-two years: played in the string bass section for twelve years and conducted the Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra for the past ten years: has been a member of or directed the Bell Choir and Chancel Choir at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
