The drought of fourteenth century in some parts of South-Asia brought all troubles for Muhammad Tughlaq from 1330-1351 AD and collapse of his empire under Feroz Tughlaq, who had to face worsening aridity through out his rule of thirty seven years, leading to rebellions throughout the possession.
Muhammad Tughlaq therefore made preparation for invasion of Sindh and called troops and boats from Multan, Uch, Depalpur, by the river and land and even Mongols under Altun Bahador came from Farghana via Bolan Pass, but on March 1351 AD, he died at Sonda probably by poisoning.
The Tughlaq expedition consisted of 90,000 cavalry, 480 elephants and 5000 boats, he but was defeated by Banbhiniyos 20,000 cavalry and 400,000 foot soldiers and fled to Gujarat.

Having cleaned three monuments in the last few months -- Sabz Burj, Feroz Shah Tughlaq's Tomb and Isa Khan's Tomb in the Humayun's Tomb complex -- this sudden interest in making monuments spotlessly clean seems to have got conservationists across the city concerned.
Bright white and covered with scaffolding, the chemical cleaning of the monuments seems to have alarmed even the residents of Nizamuddin and Hauz Khas village.
Isa Khan's Tomb, Feroz Shah Tughlaq's Tomb and Sabz Burj are some of the oldest buildings in Delhi and using chemicals on these monuments may make them clean, but it is too big a risk to take with heritage, argue conservationists.

In 1285, Muhammad Tughlaq, son of Emperor Balban, was killed in a bloody battle with the Mongols and the famous poet Amir Khusuro was taken prisoner in Dipalpur.
Feroz Shah Tughlaq constructed a grand mosque, palaces and excavated a canal from River Sutlaj to inundate the trench and irrigate gardens around the town.
The village came to be known as Hujra Shah Muqeem — the place that is mentioned in the famous Punjabi folk love story Mirza Saheban.
