The 125 S (commonly called the 125 or 125 Sport) was the first vehicle produced and built by Ferrari.
Although preceded by Enzo Ferrari's Auto Avio Costruzioni 815 of 1940, the 125 S was the first vehicle to bear the Ferrari name when it debuted on May 11, 1947 at the Piacenza racing circuit.
The 125 S used a steel tube-frame chassis and had a double wishbone suspension with transverse leaf springs in front with a live axle in the rear.

Ferrari’s various 166's were the companies first offerings made readily available to any wealthy member of the public, four types having been built; the Sport, Spyder Corsa, Mille Miglia and Inter.
Ferrari obliged and launched two new models, the 166 Mille Miglia and 166 Inter debuting during September of 1948 at the Turin Salon.
Upgraded in early 1948, this time to full 166 Spyder Corsa specification, Ferrari altered the chassis number from 02 C to 020 I. Just one 125 exists today, but this is an exact replica constructed by Ferrari at vast expense during the mid 1980’s.

This was not actually the first road car that Ferrari had built, as his Auto Avio Costruzioni company built an 815 in 1940, but it was the first car to bear the Ferrari name.
