The Enzo Ferrari will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Paris International Motor Show from the 28th of September to the 13th of October 2002, and just 349 examples will be built.
The Enzo Ferrari is not only the marque's latest V12, it is also a pinnacle of excellence drawing on the experience of victories in the last four years of the Formula 1 World Championship, thus endowed with the very latest automobile technology.
Ferrari set out to develop the Enzo as an integrated system designed for extreme performance, in which even the limits of the performance achievable by the driver were enhanced, thanks to a man-machine interface typical of Formula 1.

 Ferrari 212 Inter
The 212 was Ferrari's successor to their short-lived 195, a model produced for a brief spell between 1950 and '51.
Like that car, the 212 was available in a pair of alternative configurations, the Inter having been for road use and the Export predominantly for competition.
212 Inter's were predominantly built on a 2600mm wheelbase chassis although a handful were constructed with shorter 2500mm wheelbase frames.

Typically weighing in at around 10% less than the average 212 Inter, Export's were lively performers with a top speed of 140mph and (depending upon gear ratios) a zero to sixty time in well under seven seconds.

The first one is carbon copy (a vintage one) of the letter that was sent to Ferrari by Andre Meert on December 30, 1952 requesting technical information on the engine (such as compression rate, power output and at which RPM that was achieved as well as the end reduction.
It has "212 Inter" written on it in the same turkish blue fountain pen ink as the first document which leads me to believe that those notes come from Andre Meert.
It was entered in the 1989 Mille Miglia by Ferrari / Ferrari from Italy.

His name comes quite often in the early Ferrari records and he must have been a kind of export agent.

The 212 had a 60 degree V12 engine of 2563cc designed by Gioacchino Colombo, which developed between 150-170bhp depending on its standard of tune (early cars had a single Weber carb, later cars had triple Webers).
Coachwork varied from car to car, however most 212s carried bodies by Vignale in Fixed Head Coupe and Convertible styles, in total just over 80 cars were produced between 1951-1953.
