Ferrari 330 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ferrari 330 cars are the successor of Ferrari 250, first introduced by Ferrari in 1963.
The first 330 America was simply a 250 GT with a larger engine, and the 330 GTC/GTS shared their chassis with the 275.
The 250 GT 2+2 was replaced in January, 1964 by the new 330 GT 2+2.

 Ferrari 330 LMB Berlinetta
Monza, April 1963 was where the 330 LM Berlinetta made it's debut, this new model being presented to the press along with Ferrari's 250 P sports prototype.
An early spring launch allowed Ferrari enough development time to travel to the Le Mans 24 Hours with possibly the strongest line-up they could have hoped for with those new 250 P sports prototypes, 330 LM B's in the experimental GT category, an army of GTO's and even a few SWB's.
It is safe to assume that Ferrari would have been reasonably happy with the result in '63, cars wearing a prancing horse filling the top six places, 250P, 250 GTO, 250 P, 250 GTO, 330 LM B and 250 GTO finishing in that order.

One of Enzo Ferrari's longtime practices was to hold an annual press conference at his Maranello factory to show off his latest cars, showroom and competition models alike.
The 330 GT 2 + 2 chassis was all-Ferrari in style and substance, though it spanned a longer (104.2-inch) wheelbase than the GTE/America.
In short, this was the "commuter's" Ferrari, a car that could stand the daily stop-and-go grind yet provide a lot of excitement on the right kind of road.

Intended to fill a gap in Ferrari’s line-up between the four-seat 330 GT 2+2 and the racer-on-the-road 275 GTB, the two-seat 330 GTC debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1966 and in essence was a closed version of the 275 GTS.
Beneath the hood resided the 4-liter, 300-bhp version of Ferrari’s familiar two-cam 60-degree V12 (as used in the 330 GT 2+2) mated to a five-speed rear transaxle.
Although it was unusual for Ferrari to split the two-seat coupe market between the GTC and the GTB, the GTC was meant to be a comfortable road car rather than a thinly disguised racing machine.
