		The Maryland Renaissance Festival, located near Annapolis, Maryland, is considered the second-largest event of its kind in the United States, serving an average of 12,000 customers daily as of 2004.
		The Minnesota Renaissance Festival which currently boasts the highest seasonal attendance of all the festivals in the Midwest is owned and operated by Mid-America Festivals, Inc., which also manages the Michigan, Kansas City, and Bay Area (Tampa Bay, Florida) Renaissance Festivals.
		The Georgia Renaissance Festival, near Atlanta, is the largest in the Southeast and began in 1986 as a spring festival.

	Pedestrian Gate D - Festival Forums
		i dunno where that gate is in relation to where ya being dropped off, but instead of walking round the perimiter, why not head for the nearest gate and thru the festival to the other gate?
		There is a road that runs along the outside of the fence from Gate A to Gate D but they closed it off at certain times last year for security reasons.
		If you come in through gate A there is a clear path to all the main stage areas.

		Lions Gate recently announced the acquisition of Trimark (a deal that is about to close according to Ortenberg) and it also secured $200 million in financing.
