The Stratford Festival of Canada, one of the country's most renowned theatre festivals, brings in $125 million to the region and creates 3,300 full-time jobs, according to an economic impact study of the region by the Conference Board of Canada.
Toronto's Downtown and other jazz festivals across the country eventually united to form the amalgamated group Jazz Festivals Canada, which subsequently netted TD Canada Trust as a major sponsor for all the jazz festivals.
