Feud (professional wrestling) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Feuds may be protracted and last for months or even years or resolved with implausible speed, perhaps during the course of a single long match.
Feuds are often the result of the friction that is created between faces (the heroic figures) and heels (the malevolent, 'evil' participants).
A prime example of this was the feud between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, who despite having one of the WWE's and professional wrestling's most memorable on screen feuds, they really did have a total disstain for each other, based on many real life backstage feuds between the two.

Organizational Feuds; workplace feud, conflict management, team conflict - Chaco Canyon Consulting
Religious feuds and the feuds between family clans in Eastern Kentucky in the nineteenth century are probably the most famous feuds in the public mind.
Since interpersonal feuds can be sorted out at the interpersonal level, rather than the organizational level, it's useful to examine the interpersonal feud to identify some tools for distinguishing it from impersonal feuds.
If the feud is a manifestation of a deeper organizational feud, changes in work assignments, personal coaching, or even conflict resolution efforts are unlikely to end the feud, since the source of the problem resides elsewhere.
