Tribute To The Martyrs - Steel Pulse, Music Downloads - Online
This Album was released by Steel Pulse on 10/26/1990
But what really sets this album apart from its predecessor is the melodies, which, while still often fairly dry, are sometimes unbelievably powerful.
Most critics will tell you that Handsworth Revolution is the crucial Steel Pulse album, but don't be fooled: Get this one and True Democracy and you'll have most of the band's essential studio recordings.

Highway Companion - Tom Petty, Music Downloads - Online
Review: Tom Petty's concept for his third solo album is laid bare in its very title: it's called Highway Companion, which is a tip-off that this record was made with the road in mind.
Lynne's previous Petty productions were so bright, big, and shiny, they would have been suitable for an ELO album, and given that track record, it would be easy to assume that he would follow the same template for Highway Companion, but that's not the case at all.
That may mean that this album isn't quite as fun as it initially seems on the surface, but that bittersweet undercurrent does indeed make Highway Companion a good partner for long nights on the road.

The whole world succumbed to Kylie ‘Fever’ in October 2001 when her eighth studio album was unleashed.
A special edition album was issued as to coincide with the release of ‘Come Into My World’; featuring mixes and the previously unreleased ‘Whenever You Feel Like It’, taken from the soundtrack to the ‘Scooby Doo’ movie.

Kylie Minogue - Fever : album review
Burning Up Fresh from her fantastically bewildering appearance in Moulin Rouge as the absinthe fairy, Australia's finest returns with her eighth studio album, Fever.
The album release was preceded by one of 2001's best singles, Can't Get You Out Of My Head, which predicatably beat off lesser "competition" (this time in the shape of the over-accessoried Posh Spice) to leap into the UK singles chart at Number 1.
It would be difficult to pinpoint one duff track on this record, but the more obvious candidates for singles are towards the front of the album - just like her first two records, in fact - especially the rip-roaring frolic that is Love At First Sight.

The title track, Fever is a bouncy slice of Pop that is as playful as ever where as showing off her more sassy side was featured on the driving Burning Up which would have made ideal chart material.

Compare Prices and Read Reviews on Fever - Kylie Minogue at Epinions.com
Fever is a true Disco album, a pretty rare thing these days.
Kylie has never had the best voice in the world, but she knows what she’s good at, sticks to it, and does it better than anyone else in the business.
When she needs to she has a pretty raunchy voice (okay she’s not Tina Turner but she does it for me), and in my favourite song of the album, Fragile, she is incredibly sweet.

Pac-Man Fever is a 1982 album recorded by Buckner and Garcia.
Each song on the album is about a different classic arcade game, and uses sound effects from that game.
The re-release was anxiously awaited by fans of the original album.

Minogue's album spreads an upbeat 'Fever'
It's easy to understand why Kylie Minogue's Fever was a smash overseas, but now it seems as though many in the U.S. are starting to get sick with the same Fever.
The entire album is extremely upbeat and I found my foot taping along to the beat while fighting the urge to get up and dance.
This isn't an album that is going to be bought for an underlying deep meaning in the artist's songs or for wonderful vocals, but for those who like to dance and listen to not-so-emotionally-draining music, this is a great pick.

Aced Magazine : Bright Light Fever Album Review
Bright Light Fever is capable of creating some captivating rhythms and tunes which are certainly listenable and pleasing to the ears.
Bright Light Fever is comprised of Sir Evan Anthony Ferro on guitar, vocals, and keyboard, Matt Ferro on guitar and vocals, Dan Suave on bass and Robert Torres on drums.
Let's wait for their sophomore album to come around before any assumptions are made, but in all fairness, they're on the right track.

The concert packs sdd songs, all but one of which appeared on a prior Kylie album; only her cover of “The Crying Game” doesn’t seem to have popped up on an official Minogue release.
She didn’t appear to dance as much in Fever and looked content to let her dancers and effects take up the slack for her.
Fever seems unlikely to convince folks of Kylie’s talents, but her current fans should absolutely love it.

 Pac-Man Fever: Memorbilia
Pac-Man Fever (both the song and the album) was quite a fad within the larger fad of "Pacmania." It spawned several interesting items all its own.
The music for "Pac-Man Fever" was also published in numerous other books of music for piano and other instruments in the early '80s.
I assume this is either because the album cover design wasn't yet completed or that it didn't show up well enough in fl and white.

Fever's success has been highlighted with many Club and National Awards as well as with no less than four nominations in both the 1995 and 1996 Great British Country Music Awards.

And it's the beat that drives this entire album, which is also the reason why 'Fever' is still a clever effort if not quite as remarkable.
Being a bit too beat repetitive is this album's only actual flaw, although a rather substantial one over the course of its 14 tracks.
In fact, this entire album is a shining lesson of how to construct club-informed pop music without having to pander to unimaginative formula.

The public awaits their debut album, salivating at the doors of their local Virgin Megastore, and when the said LP finally drops, it– to put it mildly– sucks.
Now, mind you, upon purchasing Fever, I had yet to listen to a single track in its entirety, and even on my way home from the record store, I kept nagging myself: Was the album worth the wait?
In short, Fever to Tell is a great album, channeling the angst and sarcastic despair of being young and helpless post-9/11.

This is normally a good thing, though, because a band would become a tad boring if it came out with the same old same old.
It seems the band has walked away from the concrete lyric style of songs like "City Song" and "Stongman" of its previous album and strayed into the realm of abstract emotion and feelings.
Jill Cunaiff's vocals are amazing and her voice creates its own grooves separate from the background instruments but still an integral part of the beat.

Saturday Night Fever - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect
Saturday Night Fever, as a movie and an album, and a brace of hit singles off of it, suddenly made disco explode into mainstream, working- and middle-class America with new immediacy and urgency, increasing its audience by five- or ten-fold overnight.
The Bee Gees had written "Stayin' Alive" (then called "Saturday Night"), "Night Fever," "How Deep Is Your Love," "If I Can't Have You," and "More Than a Woman" for what would have been the follow-up album to Children of the World, and they might well have enjoyed platinum-record status with that proposed album.
Heard on CD as 79 minutes of music, Saturday Night Fever comes off like an idealized commercial-free radio set of late-'70s dance music (and, in that regard, the decision to leave Rick Dees' "Disco Duck" off the soundtrack album was a good one for all concerned, except Mr.

Full Moon Fever was Petty's solo album -- and the pop influence of ex-E.L.O. leader (and Beatle fanatic) Jeff Lynne was apparent.
Tom Petty's "solo" debut is hardly a major departure, as many of his Heartbreakers appear on this album, as do all his fellow Wilburys save Bob Dylan.
By making this a solo album maybe Petty is simply drawing a dividing line in his career, and these are his "solo" songs.

She's the lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the guitar-drums-gal band whose debut full-length album, Fever to Tell, proves that the New York rock renaissance runs deeper and wilder than the Strokes.
By the end of the album, with the slow Velvet Underground drone of "Modern Romance," her sass deepens into something more bruised and wistful, as love escapes her once again.
When I bought the album I was pretty much in love with it nd I would say this got me in the whole garage-rock/New Wave revival.

God is the clear lyrical focus in almost all of these well-produced tracks, but that doesn't keep the MC from showcasing his smooth, thoughtful flow or sharing his far-from-squeaky-clean story.
The craft here is thoughtful, impeccable: Every arrangement—while maintaining the album's resolute laze—seems to touch a different corner of pop music; whether it be folk, country, jazz, lounge, R&B, or whatever we call the collisions in between, the Graves stamp is never lost.
