Fight Club for Xbox Review - Xbox Fight Club Review
Fight Club the game is a resounding failure.
Such a game would hopefully capture the sheer intensity and brutality of the movie's battles between men fed up with a stifling society who are looking for a pure, primal release of all their emotions and frustrations.
Fight Club is a lousy fighting game and a lousy tie-in with its namesake.

 Fight Club - GameCritics.com
Fighting game fans should just walk on by to the many other decent fighting games out there: Def Jam Vendetta, Guilty Gear X2, or wait just a little longer to get a hold of the genuine article, Tekken 5.
Fight Club, by comparison, is about a bunch of shirtless guys who gather in basements and punch one another senseless.
Even the game's graphics have their down side—there's one level that's knee-deep in water, and while the water ripples in circles around the characters' legs, it isn't noticeably disturbed when they walk through it, nor is there a splash when they fall.

Fight Club - Playstation 2 (PS2) Reviews - The Armchair Empire
With the brutality of the fights, each match starts with the basic attacks of punching, kicking, or grappling with each move being able to be blocked or countered.
As the fights wear on and a fighter becomes fatigued, it is possible to access a greater number of attacks including some that break bones.
If a player is still able to fight with the broken bone (if it’s just a shoulder, arm, or rib bone) they person’s offensive capability is obviously reduced and they not only receive more damage but their own attacks are dulled.

Fight Club (video game) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fight Club is a fighting video game based on the film Fight Club, which was based on the novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk.
The fighting moves are intended to be brutally violent, such as one where the opponent's arm is visibly broken at the elbow.
By winning fights, the character moves up through the ranks of Fight Club and Project Mayhem to become Tyler Durden's right-hand man. In a bizarre twist that was highly criticized, winning Story mode also unlocks Fred Durst, lead singer from Limp Bizkit, as a playable character.

 Fight Club™ - the game - GameDev.Net Discussion Forums
In the game, only a couple of humans will be fighting to save their world, along with alien races from other worlds in the universe which are in the process of being taken over by a conquering legion of space warriors.
In the game, players will have the flashy fighting that most fighting games allow, as well as very technicly accurate fighting styles based on realistic abilities of all the characters which will resemble many common fighting techniques and their respective damaging effects.
fighting is a "calorie count", when fighting someone of equal skill, and without that lucky punch landing, the fight comes down to who is in the better shape.

Fight Club Microsoft Xbox Video Game Review by AceGamez
Well, in fighting games I have experienced over the years, most have a nice combination of punches, kicks, grabs and special 'all singing, all dancing, all lights flashing' moves that are lovely to pull off.
Even die-hard Fight Club fans who give it a little try, just to play as their favourite characters from the film will be woefully disappointed at the wasted use of the license.
Fight Club doesn't have much going for it, except lots of disappointment - the in-game graphics are nice, but then again, not as nice as better fighting games like Mortal Kombat: Deception, which actually have gameplay too.

VU Announce Fight Club // News
We brought you the first mention of a Fight Club a couple of weeks ago, however today Vivendi-Universal officially announced the title, currently in development at Genuine Games for the Playstation2 and Xbox.
As you can see from the screens, ‚Fight Club’ is essentially a 3D beat-em-up; whilst this kind of butchery is slightly disheartening considering the movie is more then just the violence, lets just hope that Genuine Games can create a decent fighting title to help overlook this fact.
"Fight Club is set to deliver a fighting game that will portray the experience of a realistic fighter that incorporates many elements from the Fight Club movie," claimed Luc Vanhal, VU Games North American president and COO.

Fight Club Xbox game review from allXbox.com
Vivendi Universal's Fight Club game serves as the perfect example of why licensed games have gained such a notorious reputation: it's unscrupulous members of the Hollywood and gaming community shaking hands in a smoke-filled back room and exchanging a suitcase of money.
Fight Club is the exact opposite of that.
As it is, it's a too-simplified game that won't hold any fighting game fan's interest for more than an hour, and will only annoy people who are actually fans of the film by how the spirit and tone are tossed right out the window to try to make a lame Tekken clone.

 Fight Club Xbox Review
If you saw (or read) "Fight Club," you'll remember it as a nihilistic, angry indictment of capitalist society, in which the main characters beat each other into a pulp because that was the only way they could feel alive within their increasingly deadening lives.
"Fight Club" wants to be a down and dirty game, which it signals by graphical flourishes like having blood splash on the screen and having bruises and welts grow on the fighters' faces during a bout.
In sum, this is a game that feels strangely rushed, as if the team didn't have the time to tune the gameplay, build out the story, or finish the audio and graphics.

Let's fight!" If you were to insert a cuss word here and there to give the game an edge, then you would have pretty much every single cutscene.
The game also feels visceral at first, with a blood-splattering-on-the-camera gimmick punctuating moves that send characters gasping for air and fidgeting on the ground in pain.
