52nd filmfare awards for South India were presented at a function arranged in Gachibolwi Stadium on the night of 23rd July 2005.
Prakash Raj (Best villain in Tamil for Gilli): The best actor for villain and character artist was established in Filmfare awards around 3 years back.
I owe this award to Chiranjeevi as he is the one who selected me for this role and took care of my dressing and characterization.

The Filmfare Best Music Director Award is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films.
Note: The Filmfare award for Best Music Director when started in 1953, was given to a particular song and NOT the entire album.
So in 1953 Naushad got the Filmfare award for Best Music Director for the song "Tu Ganga Ki Mauj" from Baiju Bawra and in 1954 S. Burman got the Filmfare award for Best Music Director for the song "Jaye To Jaye Kahan (Talat Mahmood version)" from Taxi Driver.

On stage to collect an award from the Swiss government, Shah Rukh charmed Geraldine Chaplin (daughter of comedian Charlie Chaplin, who presented him the trophy) and snatched the microphone from compere Malini Sharma (who made her debut in Raaz), even though she insisted there was no time for a speech.

Interestingly, four of the five films nominated for Best Film and Best Director were based on secondary sources.
