  Carry-A-Tune...Rock Star Purses
Side A of the purse is made from the original album jacket (usually the cover.) A cover could be chosen because that particular album holds very high sentimental value to someone.
For example it could have been the first album that one ever bought with their own money, or played it till it skiped, or had their first dance, first kiss, first time to...
Regardless of whether you give us the album or not, we still have to perform manual labor to transform an album into a purse and that is what really determines the cost.

 Music: Phair-Minded (Nashville Scene . 08-17-98)
And as the follow-up album proved, she'd been making raw, low-fi music more out of necessity than out of a desire to dig her fingernails into the back of corporate rock 'n' roll.
And the truth is, her new album achieves both goals as well as could be expected in an era as cynical and self-conscious as this one.
Growth abounds on the new album: It can be heard in the newfound expressiveness of her voice, which has added clarity and greater range without sacrificing intimacy.

Gabriel next album (distinguished by the fingernails on its cover) was produced by King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp.
His third album (with the melting face on the cover), released in 1980, marked his biggest Stateside success to date, and charted in the U.S. Top 30.
Moving into uncharted musical territory, Gabriel's third album also betrayed a newfound interest in the digital effects of the Fairlight CMI (a computer-controlled synthesizer), as well as inklings of a burgeoning interest in the music and troubles of the Third World.

 Mike Oldfield - Tubular.net - Amarok
Quiet parts of the album are sometimes disturbed by loud, raucous sounds.
Mike said he imagined Virgin executive Simon Draper listening to the album in his car and turning it up loud, only to be suddenly frightened to death by a loud synth brass stab.
Mike was annoyed at Virgin's lack of promotion for the album (although if he really had made it deliberately uncommercial, Mike would surely have expected them not to promote it...), and so took out his own advertising campaign.

Rafael Rabelo - Free Music Downloads, Videos, CDs, MP3s, Bio, Merchandise and Links
A flamenco-style proponent (he played with his fingertips, not with fingernails) within the Brazilian popular roots and always foreseeing the classical tradition on the horizon, he was celebrated by many first-class musicians and critics worldwide.
In 1984, he and Radamés recorded the album Tributo a Garoto through Funarte, with Garoto's compositions and Gnatalli's "Concertino No. 2." In that same year, he recorded for Polygram his first solo album, Rafael Sete Cordas, with compositions by Tom Jobim, Augustin Barrios, Jacó do Bandolim, João Pernambuco, and others.
With Paulo Moura, he recorded the album Dois Irmãos in 1991, through Caju Music/Milestone, with sambas, choros, and Tom Jobim' valse "Luísa." This CD would be awarded with the Prêmio Sharp in the next year as Best Instrumental Album.

Not only are the band members very involved with their church youth group, they are also in negotiations with a mainstream music label to promote and distribute their album to the secular world.
Though nothing has been set in stone, the band says they've always prayed that God would open the doors for them to minister to youth who may be attracted to their new grunge-rock sound, but who choose to listen to secular bands that promote unbiblical and often depressing messages.

This album lacks all the jitters, on the edge, biting-your-fingernails hyperactivity that normally comes from caffeine.
Instead, when you hear them, you are listening to a relaxed indie rock album with a touch of emo -- stirred, not shaken.

The thing I love about every Garbage album is that they are albums - and great ones at that - becuase you can listen to them all the way through and end up never questioning whether one of the songs should have been left out.
Sure, many compare this album with their first two which isn't as good but nobody can constantly follow-up each album's success Garbage fans will definitely fall in love with this the minute they listen to the first 5 tracks which are clearly better songs than their entire last album combined.
