		One consideration of the fire and forget concept is if the missile is released beyond it's terminal mode and losses it's target designation from the parent aircraft it will look for the largest(or only) target in it's scan area and lock onto it if possible.
		But neither are true fire and forget (like the Maverick), because depending on the range, they both need initial guidance before their tiny onboard radar gets tracking data.
		I usually 'Fire and Forget' that the enemy is likely to fire back.....and then my plane gets broken and I throw my joystick away and my finacee says "Grow up".
