When requesting fire support the speed is of the essence and therefor a demand of fire support should be as simple yet as detailed as possible in the first report.
To correct fire support that is faulty - the startingpoint should be the correct position according to the map, - "Adjust fire, to far (or to short) 100m, left (or right) 200m", and since you gave the fire support command the enemy position and your position they can quickly adjust the fire.

 Indirect Fire
Unobserved fire is fire for which the points of impact or burst are not observed.
These fires neutralize, canalize, or destroy enemy attack formations or defenses; obscure the enemy's vision or otherwise inhibit his ability to acquire and attack friendly targets; and destroy targets deep in the enemy rear with long-range rocket or missile fires.
These fires are used to disrupt, delay, and destroy enemy forces that, because of range limitations or intervening terrain, cannot fire their primary weapon systems on friendly forces.

 Chapter III N. Fire Support
Fire support is the collective and coordinated use of indirect fire, target acquisition data, armed aircraft, and other lethal and nonlethal means against ground targets in support of maneuver force operations.
Fire support responsibilities focus on close support fires in support of engaging maneuver units, counterfire (the attack of enemy indirect fire support systems), and interdiction (the attack of enemy laterally and in depth).
Modernization of the fire support operating system depends upon the development of these key systems for fire support coordination, close support, counterfire, command and control, and target acquisition, as well as munitions and rockets, and their ultimate fielding as a fire support system–of–systems.

By timing when the batteries fired, the U.S. fire direction centers were able to have the fire from all of the assets in a mission arrive at the same time in a single deadly strike known as a "Time-on-Target" mission.
Also, with an historical response time of about 3 minutes from call-for-fire to fire mission, it would not be unreasonable to allow all 3 batteries of a DS battalion to fire independent missions in the 10 minute period that the Battlefront turn represents.
A reasonable restriction would be to allow 3 separate fire missions from a DS battalion if no general support artillery was added, but allow only 2 separate missions if one of them calls for general support, and allow only one of the missions from the battalion to call for general support in a turn.
