The First Intermediate Period is the name conventionally given by Egyptologists to that period in Ancient Egyptian history between the end of the Old Kingdom and the advent of the Middle Kingdom.
The Middle Kingdom is a period in the history of ancient Egypt stretching from the establishment of the Eleventh dynasty to the end of the Fourteenth dynasty, roughly between 1986 BC and 1633 BC.
The Twenty-eighth dynasty of Egypt had one ruler, Amyrtaeus, who was a descendant of the Saite kings of the Twenty-sixth dynasty, and led a successful revolt against the Persians on the death of Darius II.

Sumerian king list - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The kingship was believed to be handed down by the gods, and could be passed from one city to another by military conquest.
The first name on the list whose existence has been authenticated through recent archaeological discoveries, is that of Enmebaragesi of Kish, whose name is also mentioned in the Gilgamesh epics.
However, aside from the unrealistic durations of some reigns, the figures cannot be simply added, because dynasties presented as having reigned in succession -- with the kingship passing from city to city -- more likely reigned simultaneously, with each dynasty ruling its own city.

Although from the reign of the Horus Den on, they often took the kings' Nebti-names as their Prenomen, the relationship between the names in the Kinglists and those mentioned on the archaeological sources is not always clear.
This is the case for all kings preceding the Horus Den, the first four kings of the 1st Dynasty.
The next clue to the identification of Menes and a confirmation of the chronology of the 1st Dynasty is provided by two seals found in 1985 and 1995 at the royal cemetery at Umm el-Qa'ab.

While management's stated intention was that gold and copper properties in Asia were First Dynasty's long-term focus, the company acquired EPS to complement its asset base with a property that had the potential for nearer term cash flow than the mineral exploration properties then being evaluated.
First Dynasty's plan for Sembakung at the time of the acquisition was to increase production at the oilfield from the then current production rate of 2,800 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) to 14,000 BOPD by recapitalizing the field and then entering into a secondary recovery program using water-flood technology.
First Dynasty's efforts to effectively operate the project with local management have been more difficult than anticipated and this has resulted in a delay of at least a year in implementing the expansion program and in realizing near-term cashflow objectives.
