Star Wars stresses the self-destructive nature of anger and hate, summed up in Yoda's words ("Fear is the path to the dark side: fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering") as well as placing one's feelings for certain people aside.
The galactic setting of Star Wars is never given a name and is called simply "the galaxy." Since the characters never venture beyond the galaxy and the power of both the Republic and the Empire ends at its borders, the galaxy clearly serves, ironically enough, as a microcosm of both Earth and a country.
Star Wars the radio adaptation, NPR 1981, was followed by adaptations of the next two films of the series.

Its novel feature was to link various scenarios into a campaign, where success in one battle would give the player the ability to acquire additional units and a better scenario for the next battle, in a manner reminiscent of role-playing games.
In 1997, Panzer General II (titled Panzer General IIID in Germany) upgraded the interface to use an overlay of photorealistic terrain, and to display units facing in different directions, resulting in a much improved appearance.
True 3D came in with the 1999 release of Panzer General 3D Assault; the units were small 3D models, and the view could be a perspective view over the battlefield.

The different ranks of general are identified by the number of stars worn; a General of the Army wears five stars, a General four stars, a Lieutenant General three stars, a Major General two stars, and a Brigadier General one star.
