Further, there seems to be a difference between Zeljko's descriptions and the actual proposal: the triangle (a geographic representation of the country?) does not extend either to the hoist nor to the fly.
If I remember correctly there are ten stars on the flag of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to reflect the fact that federation has ten cantons.
