  Flash-Frozen vs. Fresh
By flash freezing it, the meat maintains its integrity at the time it was frozen.
The key of flash freezing is immediate, rapid freezing at very low temperature (minus 40 degrees F) known as cryogenic freezing.

Problems with Arrays/Loadvars and flash freezing - ActionScript.org Forums
I am creating a flash game which frequently reads and writes to various txt files on my se3rver to save and load games, and adjust details in each file as you "battle" other players.
I removed any refrence to the function inputToString() (the function with the arrays) as even after removing the arrays and making a simple function that creates a new string out of the data massed to it, it still would freeze flash after it was referenced and then you'd try to view variable data.
Once inputToString was removed, and nothign referenced it, flash stopped freezing when viewing variables, though it still can't get past the preloader or finish loading the flash movie completely online.

Freezing is a common method of food preservation which slows both food decay and the growth of micro-organisms and, by turning water to ice, makes it unavailable for bacterial growth and chemical reactions (see frozen food).
In biology, freezing is the reaction of an animal to a fear-eliciting situation, enabling it to remain undetected by a predator by becoming motionless to prepare a fight-or-flight response.

For example, flash freezing is used in the food industry to quickly freeze perishable food items (see frozen food).
Freezing since then has become a major part of life for everyday people and is one of the most commonly used processes commercially and domestically.

The frozen food industry has expanded rapidly because of the labor-saving and space-saving advantages of frozen foods and because the freezing process generally involves less loss of taste, flavor, and appearance than do other methods; it has been paralleled by the development of suitable containers and of specialized methods of transportation, storage, and retailing.

In the example of the Ohio mastodon, the plant remains that once occupied the gut survived long after the remainder of the mastodon had decayed because of the water- logged, anaerobic environment in which they were buried.
If freezing temperatures are essential for the preservation of plant material in the gut contents, why did the plant remains associated with this mastodon survived when the mastodon was never frozen and the rest of the mastodon had decayed away?
In this and other cases it is clearly evident that quick freezing is unnecessary for the preservation of plant material.
