		A settlement is located on the Northwestern side of the island and a flag staff, standing on a conspicuous white stone cairn, is close to the landing place near the settlement, where two reefs form a natural breakwater.
		Supposedly there were two brackish lagoons in the interior of the island but perhaps because it was so dry on the island all we found were the dried remnants of one of the ponds.
