Flintheart Glomgold is a fictional character in Disney comic books, one of Scrooge McDuck's main rivals who holds the title of The Second Richest Duck in the World.
Flintheart, like Scrooge, keeps a percentage of his fortune in his own Money Bin, identical to that of Scrooge, while the rest of his fortune is invested in a world-wide financial empire of his own that equals that of Scrooge (though Scrooge's main sources of wealth are his industries while Flintheart's are his diamond mines).

Barks' frustration over having invented Glomgold becomes apparent by the simple fact that he only used him in 3 stories, and never in either one-pagers or front covers.
However, Glomgold has since been used frequently by other comic book artists, and he was also a recurring character in the popular Disney TV-series Ducktales.
Glomgold's appearance did not change at all in the 3 stories, although they were drawn in a timespan of 10 years.
