Katherine Harris (born April 5, 1957 in Key West, Florida) is currently a second-term member of the United States House of Representatives for Florida's 13th congressional district (map).
As of spring 2005, Harris was the presumptive Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2006.
Harris graduated from Bartow High School in Bartow, Florida and attended Spain's University of Madrid, before receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia in 1979.
