Florida Blue Key is a student organization at the University of Florida.
From the 1940s to the 1980s, most key politicians and businesspeople in Florida were alumni of Florida Blue Key, and the organization was known as the core of Florida's "good ol' boy network." Blue Key declined in power during the 1990s, as more individuals from other states began assuming positions of authority in Florida.
In 1995, FBK was sued by graduate student Charles Grapski, who claimed that the organization had run a slanderous campaign against his candidacy for student body president (alleging that Grapski had been charged with raping a minor).
