In 1997, the Workshop of Specialists in Ethnobotany and Economic Botany sponsored by TRAFFIC identified 22 species as potentially threatened at the national level due to overexploitation and trade.

During this and the last week, an interesting scandal has arised in Argentina around the well known hallucinogenic plant Datura.
In our country, such plant is known by the name of “floripondio” and it´s a common practice among some brave young people to make use of its faculties in the form of tea.
Those of us who have read a little more about the properties of this plant know that its use and/or synthesis is better left to professionals, be they ethnobotanists or skilled shamans.

Aunque la trama me pareció muy interesante, el lenguaje tan cargante y floripondio que usa esta mujer ha hecho que dejara la lectura con ciento y pico paginas...
Quizas más adelante, cuando haya adquirido mas madurez en mis lecturas, vuelva a reencontrarme con este titulo, pero por ahora lo liberaré para que otras personas puedan disfrutarlo :))
Espero que el lenguaje no sea demasiado floripondio para mi...
