 | | Concepts embedded in it include a "focus server", that is, a centralised point for foci (an online community type of deal), and "affiliation", that is, groups which the owner of the focus and/or the owner of the resource have some affiliation with (represented by a link to the group's site). |
 | | This would inform the resource's focus server of which foci had linked to the content, and it could then parse the file for the date linked, comments, rating etc. These in turn could be displayed in a sidebar as suggested in the resources mentioned at the beginning of this document. |
 | | To save bandwidth, the focusML files could be set up so that a new one is started each month (or year) for each focus, and a naming convention could be adopted which included the month/year at the end of the filename. |
