Tout simplement j'ai créé Folimage il y a 20 ans parce que j'avais envie de faire des films d'animation et à cette époque là, c'était très rare qu'un producteur s'intéresse à un réalisateur d'animation et je voyais bien la difficulté de faire ces films.
Et un autre copain Pascal Lenotre qui a lui rejoint Folimage il y a quelques années et qui fait Hilltop, et quelques autres, mais s'était avant tout une histoire de copain.
Iouri travaille depuis des années à Folimage, on a d'abord travaillé ensemble sur le scénario, puis il m'a paru évident qu'il avait la sensibilité pour trouver le graphisme qui irait avec l'histoire.

I guess, since i was totally unprepared for this film, i dint have any expectations from it and i took it as it came.
In the book by Jayne Pilling - Animation and Beyond, its said that Folimage's commercial productions have always been distinguished by their insistence on using a graphic style - for both characters and backgrounds - that is unlike conventional cartoon animation.
Taking into consideration all the productions that have come out of Folimage there is a sense of cohesiveness and homogeneity of styles between background and foreground.
