		Foo Fighters are a rock group formed by musician Dave Grohl in 1995.
		Foo Fighters began as a studio solo project for Grohl while he was a member of the hugely popular group Nirvana.
		The band's first single "This Is a Call" was released in June of 1995, and their eponymous debut album was released the next month to enthusiastic fan response.

		Assuming former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl dreads the thought of forever being known as "the guy from Kurt Cobain's band," the last thing he'd want to hear is that the debut album from his new band Foo Fighters sounds much like one from the deceased duke of grunge.
		While some may argue it lacks the emotion and personal feel of the band's sophomore release, I respond that this release was spurred on by death (as opposed to separation/divorce in the other album's case) and consequentially has more raw feeling to it than anything that would ever follow.
