World cup 1938 was the turning point for Brazil as they finished in an excellent 3rd place, this was also the year that Leonidas became the first player to score 4 goals in one world cup match, this was the start of a great future of world cup tournaments.
Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE were the four teams led to victory by this superstar coach.
