Wales was legally annexed by the Laws in Wales Act 1535, in the reign of Henry VIII of England, who was himself partly of Welsh ancestry.
Wales borders by England to the east and by sea in the other three directions: the Welsh Channel to the south, St George's Channel to the west, and the Irish Sea to the north.
The largest religion in Wales is Christianity, with 72% of the population declaring to be Christian in the 2001 census.

However if Sven really is playing three strikers it would seem to be playing straight into Wales' strength, their flexible five man midfield (with Giggs and Bellamy able to become strikers at any time).
Games are so often won in the middle of the park, and 5 vs 3 might not work out, and if the plan is for Rooney to play as a midfielder, might work, might backfire horribly...
I used to like Motson, but when Wales took a throw in and he confidently stated that "Giggs with the throw in" and then later he went "Smtih goes up with the keeper, good pressure by Michael Owen" i think i realised he's just crap.
