		The footbridge was delivered to the Site on 28 February 2006 and should take 4 or 5 days to erect on the abutments.
		Before it was delivered, the timber for the footbridge was cut to shape and partly assembled in a specialist factory in Holland, and then shipped over to Penicuik in sections.
		The choice of a footbridge, and its style and use of timber, will have a minimum impact on the surrounding semi-rural environment, and should blend in very well with its setting and natural flora and fauna.
