  Ford Kent engine - Biocrawler
Originally developed in 1959 for the Ford Anglia, it is an in-line four cylinder overhead valve type engine with a cast iron cylinder head and block.
The same engine with a longer stroke and thus larger capacity was subsequently used in the Ford Classic and Classic Capri (1340cc and 1500cc), the MkI and early MkII Cortinas (1200cc and 1500cc), and the early Corsairs.
The Kent engine was largely responsible for Ford gaining a name in the 1960s and 1970s for producing cars which were reluctant to start in damp weather conditions.

The GT/CS and HCS grille used the same rectangular grille pattern, but did not have the filled-in mounting areas for the stock Mustang grille emblems.
This led Ford to change to the Lucas fog lights which were used in the remainder of the GT/CS cars, as well as all 68 HCS’s.
Ford also issued a factory recall replacing some of the Marchal lights on cars that had already been sold.

Cooper is the Director of Riverside Healthcare Center in Danville, Virginia, and is concerned about the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), specifically, the requirements for material safety data sheets (MSDS).
The HCS is a performance standard, as opposed to a specification standard, and does not require a specific format for MSDS.
The requirements are that the MSDS must be in English and must contain, as a minimum, certain information about the hazardous chemical being addressed.

 Higher Consciousness Society
HCS is an outgrowth of the book Confessions, written by author and HCS founder, Ford Johnson.
HCS helps the truth seeker move beyond the mythology of the HU and the AUM to the reality that the power of the sacred word resides in the consciousness (the thoughts and beliefs) of the individual.
As for transmigration, HCS does believe that all of life is one and that souls differ only in their states of awareness.

 1991 Ford Escort Popular Comments - Carsurvey.org
Ford only made the Mk 5 Escort for about 2 years, 1990-91, and quickly revised the design releasing the Mk 6 in 91/92.
I had a 1988 Mk4 Escort with the 1.3 HCS engine and got at least 150,000 miles out of it (the speedo stopped working after that!) but and by the time the car was worth £10 scrap, the engine was still going although the tappets were a little noisy.
It was the first HCS engined car with fuel injection I've owned so presumably there's been some modifications to the engine, but clearly not for the better.

2 of 251 Ford Built "68 1/2 Mustang High Country Specials" Yes 2!
What makes these cars even harder to find is, unlike the ’68—which used the same scoops and graphics (outside of the distinctive badge) as the California Special—these cars bore only a badge, special paint, and 51 DSO for the Denver sales district.
Throughout the years, once the badge was removed and the paint changed, there was little to let folks know that the hardtop was a HCS.
The only difference between the 1968 1/2 GT/CS and HCS is that the decal on the side scoop got the familiar GT/CS for the California cars and High Country Special badging as seen above for the Denver Colorado district cars.

The Ford interview -- and a subsequent lengthy conversation in 2005 -- took place for a future book project, though he said his comments could be published at any time after his death.
