		Ford would not cover as warranty although if it were a front spring they would.(extended warranty of 10 years or 150,000 miles) The manufacturing defect is the same front or rear but the safety issue is far less with the rear springs.
		If Ford was aware of transmission issues with the Windstar it should have made (and should make) every effort to correct the issue and not just leave it to the owners to deal with an issue that should have been addressed long ago.
