  Watersplash - the Fords of Shropshire
Fords, sometimes known as watersplashes, were once a common feature of a journey in the country.
This muddy little ford (clearly much used by the local farmers) is on a (very) minor road between Cound and Acton Burnell, though it's not on the natural route from anywhere to anywhere else, which is probably why it has survived.
I suspect it is the best-known ford in the district.

While the Knott's Berry event covered all Ford products, including the Lincoln/Mercury side of Ford life, the late-model Mustangs were out in force taking over one whole parking lot on their own.
Various other parking lots were designated for all the Ford nameplates other than the Mustang and all areas were filled with spectators.
For the younger generation, The Knott's Berry Fabulous Fords Forever event was a great way to understand the passion for the Mustang by seeing the whole show--especially the way it was laid out.

When someone is doing work, they use Ford, and sometimes Chevy, but at least 88% of it is Ford.
Sometimes you see dodges hauling or towing or doing work, but mostly fords are the workhorses, although you also see plenty of nice fords that you know don't do any work.
The chevys require a lot more maintainance than the fords in their experience and are also more prone to problems.

The car club council, and Ford, that put the show together, ensure the widest possible spectrum of Fords are at Knott's, so there is always something interesting to look at.
Even if you glanced at the ancient non-Mustang Fords years ago, the breadth of Ford's involvement means you could spend a lifetime learning the stories behind all those vehicles and still hardly know it all.
