Forest Hills has historically had a very large Jewish population, and more than 10 synagogues are located in the area.
Forest Hills was once the home of the US Open tennis tournament, played at the West Side Tennis Club before it moved to the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows Park.

There is a good bit of traffic on this street since it is one of two that go straight through the neighborhood, but cars are supposed to slow to 20 miles an hour.
Jaime is standing next to one of the pillars, on which is a sign warning outsiders that their car will be "booted," or immobilized by having a device locked to one of its wheels, if it is parked in the Gardens.
