As time progressed (& IF the park survived), the gondolas were replaced with bi-planes in the late '20s or '30s, & in the late 40's or early 50's, they were replaced with big shiny silver jets, usually trimmed in red.
Palisades Parks' had a more elongated car to withstand the severe forces on that ride, due to the extreme height.
