  The Goltherlon Forest
Because of the denseness of the forest, the rustling of leaves seems to echo off the tree, and the sound of a distant bird may seem like the seducing song of a dryad or the haunting prayer of a lonely elven spirit.
Within the middle of the forest, the shadows rip away most of their light coloration, along with sou’cald moss, which may turn their elegant trunks a dark blue, sometimes appearing fl, usually in the autumn months then the air grows thick with moisture.
Because of the Goltherrhim’s flight from the forest in 706 b.S. due to their belief the land had been tainted, many are very superstitious about traveling through the forest of Goltherlon.

Forest fire is only the most important area of policy and management gridlock of the Forest Service.
The national forests were conceived almost 100 years ago as one element of the grand plan of the progressive era for the “scientific management” of American society.
National forest management at times has come to be closer to the setting of policy for abortion than to deciding how to maximize the economic output of the forests.

 05-4101 -- Ecology Center Inc. v. U.S. Forest Service -- 06/29/2006
The demonstration of compliance with the applicable regulatory regime heightens the transparency and legitimacy of the Forest Service when it dons multiple hats: it is the institution that issues the legal provision, the institution that is subject to the provision, and the institution charged with the power to interpret the provision.
For the Forest Service to assume it has satisfied all of its regulatory requirements based on a record that applied a now defunct regulatory regime is at odds with the agency's commitment to "produce responsible land management" and to attain the goal of sustaining social, economic, and ecological systems.
The Department of Agriculture has proposed a variety of new rules for National Forest System planning since the original planning rules were adopted in 1979, and revised in 1982.

The expedition reached the plains north of the Shimmerglen Forest, the region formerly known as Brisbane, in early Autumn of 429.
The plains are occupied by a sizable hardwood forest to the north at the foothills of the Frostpeak Mountains, but otherwise remain remarkably flat and clear throughout the region.
The western stretch of land along the shores of the river and north of the Shimmerglen Forest is rather arid and rocky terrain, teeming with caves and canyons carved by harsh dry winds, while the remaining grasslands are lush and fertile.

Forest certifiers took a bold step this month when they gave their blessing to northern California's Mendocino Redwood Company, which is the target of some activists' ire for its use of herbicides and its pace of logging -- and is the focus of a consumer boycott as a result.
The certification may be the first time in the United States that the international Forest Stewardship Council seal of approval has been awarded in the face of nationwide environmental controversy.
