Futures supplements will include the original stories and specific rules and worldbooks, just like the electronic version.
The system is not very complex, and thanks to the existence of the electronic version, it has been playtested for years.

Forgotten Futures hit me like a bullet the first time I downloaded it from the RPGnet free RPG archive.
He also includes scads of actual illustrations that accompanied these stories, which go a long way in bringing you back to the day when zeppelins were fanciful high-speed aircraft, colonial explorers discovered lands of dinosaurs, and astronauts might travel to the Moon in a bullet-shaped craft fired from a cannon.
There are six volumes of Forgotten Futures to date, each dedicated to a particular sub-genre of this…er…sub-genre.

OST of the previous Forgotten Futures material has had a background which was to some extent based on weird (or at least very unconventional) science, a never-ending source of ideas for scientific romances.
Previous Forgotten Futures collections have been based fairly closely on their source material; this time it was felt that a more free-wheeling approach was needed.
Forgotten Futures already includes rules for scientific projects, weird science, etc. A set of expanded rules was considered for this supplement, and developed over several months, but in the end discarded as too cumbersome (and much too boring) to be worth using.

Forgotten Futures is a role playing game based on these discarded possibilities; the futures that could never have been, and the pasts that might have led to them.
While Forgotten Futures 4 does have some simple magic rules, detailed in the worldbook, they are only appropriate to a narrow genre of supernatural fiction.

The only word to describe Stan Grossfeld’s Lost Futures is "overwhelming." It's a hefty, 180-page coffee-table book that's 80% photos, 20% text.
If I have any problem with Lost Futures, it's right here; this should have been done the way the rest of the book was, with large photos and detailed stories.
If you want to look for it in your local bookstore, check in the photography section; if it's not there, ask the counter help to search the store database for where they might have shelved it; if they don't have it, tell them to order it.

This contains Forgotten Futures IX and 18mb of extra material, a sampler for the full FF CD-ROM.
At the moment it seems too limited for the main Forgotten Futures documents, all of which include graphics larger than the maximum it allows, so I'm converting a few books that have few or no illustrations, are short enough for the conversion to work, and have aroused some interest in their HTML versions.
