		In botanical nomenclature, a form (forma) is a taxon at a rank below that of variety; it is an infraspecific taxon.
		For instance, white-flowered forms of species that usually have coloured flowers can be named a "f.
		Some botanists believe that there is no need to name forms, since there are theoretically countless numbers of forms based on a single-gene difference.

		The soil should be fertile and moist to maintain the rapid growth required to form tender bulbs that are free of strings and pith.
		In areas further north, where late spring frosts are usual, seeds may be sown in seedbeds made of finely sifted soil in a greenhouse, hotbed, or anywhere the temperature will be 50 degrees at night (minimum) and there is full sun exposure.
		This may be done in early April to late May. When the seedlings form their first true leaves, they should be transplanted into flats or pots, or 3 inches apart in a cold frame.

		The Botany and Plant Pathology business office will be responsible for assuring that the travel is appropriate and allocable to the funding source on a post audit basis before authorizing reimbursement of travel expenses.

	Marijuana Botany
		Pollen and ovules are formed by reduction divisions (meiosis) in which the 10 chromosome pairs fail to replicate, so that each of the two daughter-cells contains one-half of the chromosomes from the mother cell.
		However, it is a form of regenerative tissue and is a sign that conditions are favorable for root initiation.
