		Fort Plain is a village in Montgomery County, New York, USA.
		The Village of Fort Plain is at the border of the Towns of Minden and Canajoharie at the intersection of Route 80 and Route 163.

		On July 31, 1783, General George Washington inspected the garrison of Fort Plain and was given a military salute on his tour of the Mohawk Valley near the end of the war.
