		Fortress Maximus is a fictional character from several of the Transformers series.
		In his absence, he appointed Fortress the new commander of the Autobots, and it was not long before he was forced to reveal his greatest transformation secret: Battleship Maximus itself was, in fact, a gargantuan Transtector, to which Fortress connected, forming Fortress Maximus and defending San Francisco against a Decepticon attack.
		The Grand Maximus toy was the same as Fortress Maximus, except for its new coloration, and the most notable change - the Headmaster component, Grand (the redeco of Fortress/Cerebros), now possessed a Pretender shell.

		However, unlike the original Fortress Maximus, this version (as well as the RID release) did not come with a few BIG accessories, namely Cog (composed of vehicles Gasket and Grommet) and Max's big honkin guns - the dual cannon and photon rifle.
		Dual Cannon - the only problem was that the left side of the gun had a couple of weak spots and cracks where I had to reinforce with milliput two-part sculpting clay.

		They were in the dark about his true mission, however, until rather late in the game - it wasn't until after the Autobots stumbled onto Fortress Maximus' hiding place that Megatron revealed that was why he was really on the planet in the first place.
		After defeating and capturing both Galvatron and his many minions, the Autobots returned home with Fortress Maximus, presumably taking all of their technology with them - unless they left some behind, just in case.

		To be honest, I have no idea what the Green Unicron is for or from - especially since I can't get Babelfish to translate those pages from Japanese to English.
		It's actually called "Glowing Unicron", only 10 are made, it's supposed to be the anti-Unicron made from all the merged Minicons and you could only win it by entering the competition from the Japanese Transformers Year Book 2003.
		As for Fortress Maximus, Isn't that just a re-release of Brave Maximus, or is it shrunk down?
