In Irish mythology, Fragarach, known as 'The Answerer' or 'The Retaliator' was the sword of Manannan mac Lir and Lugh Lamfada.
Forged by the gods, it was given to Cúchulainn by Lugh, and later to Conn of the Hundred Battles.
Fragarach appears as a magic sword in the World of Greyhawk campaign setting for the Dungeons and dragons role-playing game.

Wizards Community - Prince Thrommel, The Answer
Whereas Fragarach should be a Chaotic weapon decended or celtic myth, I would easily accept it a a lawful weapon when serving the prince.
The argument that Fragarach should be CG based on the fact that the word is drawn from Celtic myth, is a little silly.
Fragarach passed out of history when Thrommel, a once true and rightful paladin, was broken and corrputed by the Scarlet Brotherhood and the fell powers that they relinguished the defeated prince to.

Fragarach   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-12)
Adventurers from that era sought The Answerer in the mountains north of the Valley of the Mariner.
Fragarach confers +10 to BAC and +1d6 damage, but its primary magickal power is that it allows its wielder to strike unerringly an opponent who has successfully struck the wielder, no matter where the attacker is, as long as the wielder immediately counterattacks.
In game terms, any time the wielder of Fragarach is hit (whether the hit penetrates armor or not), and the wielder spends his/her next available action attacking with Fragarach, the wielder will hit whoever attacked him/her.
