Frances Maine Morrell (born December 28, 1937) was a British Labour politician who led the Inner London Education Authority during the mid-1980s.
Frances Morrell was born Frances Galleway, and brough up in York before going to Hull University.
Morrell was herself ousted from the Leadership in 1987 by 23 votes to 22, as she had done to her predecessor and he had done to his predecessor.

On May 24, 1848, the children of Joseph Morrell (deceased), ensign and quartermaster from the Revolutionary War, applied for an increase in his pension.
The listed children are Mary Walsh, Sarah G. Morrell, Julia Morrell, Martha Morrell, and Elizabeth Morrell, these being his only living children.
Joseph Morrell enlisted in 1775, and soon thereafter received his commission as Ensign in the 4th New York Regiment.
