	Francesco Maria Piave - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Francesco Maria Piave (18 May 1810 – 5 March 1876) was an Italian librettist who was Verdi's life-long friend and collaborator.
		Piave was born in Murano in the lagoon of Venice, during the brief Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy.
		Piave died in Milan in 1876 at age 65 and was interred there in the Cimitero Monumentale.

Unlike the constant Verdi, Piave was a womanizer, with a long string of mistresses.
