He was sibling to Nicolás Franco Bahamonde, navy officer and diplomat, a sister, Pilar Franco Bahamonde, latter a well known socialite, and Ramón Franco a pioneer aviator and political conspirator.
Franco died on November 20, 1975, at the age of 82 -- the same date as José Antonio Primo de Rivera, founder of the Falange.
